Hurrairah bin Sohail speakers with Ender Jiang about his company’s experience with virtual reality and how the technology can be put to use in real-world scenarios.
“I feel that storytelling is key when trying to share ideas and storytelling has evolved to the point where technology is indispensable. Personally, I feel that my target is to pursue the future of storytelling. I want to use cutting edge technologies to tell stories in the best possible way,” starts Ender Jiang.
In late Jiang started his company Hiverlab and began exploring the world of virtual reality. Hiverlab is a company that shoots, produces and delivers virtual reality content for a host of clients. At the same time the company is working towards furthering the advancement of virtual reality technology from how it is captured and delivered to viewers.
At present, virtual reality has a number of consumer applications which are being explored and perfected. However, the future of virtual reality may not necessarily proceed in the consumer direction. Jiang says: “In my opinion consumer entertainment is a limited application of virtual reality and may also have a limited lifetime.
