CGV, one of the largest multiplex cinema chains in South Korea, has opened a new complex in Chungju city that is fully equipped with its RGB pure laser cinema projectors featuring Christie Real|Laser illumination technology.
Known as CGV Chungju Gyohyeon, the multiplex is located within Hans Tower, the city’s latest cultural and recreational destination. It occupies four levels and comprises six screens with a total capacity of 463 seats. Each auditorium has been fitted with a Christie CP2315-RGB pure laser cinema projector which deliver 2K resolution, an expanded colour gamut, and contrast ratios that exceed the DCI specification.
