Broadcast Professional and together with the Singapore Bicentennial Office, Kingsmen and CTRL FRE@K organised an exclusive ‘Entertainment Technology Industry Event’ on July 8, 2019 at the Fort Canning Centre.

The centrepiece of the event was ‘From Singapore to Singaporean: The Bicentennial Experience’, an experience that brings to life Singapore’s evolution from 1299 as the country was shaped by wider regional and global shifts.

The event was well attended by a diversified range of guests from consultants, end users, architects and partners. Attendees got to experience how the technologies deployed transformed the historical materials provided by the Singapore Bicentennial Office into an immersive and engaging sensory experience.

The event offered three guided behind-the-scenes tours that showcase the different types of interactive installations. The tours focussed on audio & show control, video – bridging content & hardware and show concept & lighting.

Oei Chie Yang, creative producer for Special Projects at Kingsmen, stated that “this centerpiece event of Singapore’s Bicentennial commemoration at Fort Canning Park aims to offer a journey that can activate their five senses.”
