Midwich expands into Southeast Asia
Midwich, a specialist audio visual distributor, has announced the official opening of an office in Singapore. Expansion into Southeast Asia will lead to greater visibility of Midwich’s global vendor portfolio and customer base in the region.
Midwich entered the Asia Pacific region in December 2018 with the acquisition of Blonde Robot, a value-added distributor of professional video, broadcast and photography products.
Focusing solely on commercial AV, Midwich Asia will provide expert support to consultants, integrators and end users in a number of areas, including technical video, large format displays, LED solutions, broadcast and audio. Targeted vertical markets include Government, Education, Broadcast and Hospitality sectors.
With a building vendor portfolio Midwich Asia will commence representing leading vendors such as Exterity, Teammate, Atlona, Haivision & Leyard to name a select few.
Michael Broadbent, managing director of Midwich APAC, commented: “Launching Midwich Asia is a milestone accomplishment for the Midwich Group which indicates both rapid growth and commitment to a bigger vision. We are excited about the opportunity to contribute to the commercial audio-visual industry in Southeast Asia and look forward to forming valuable customer relationships throughout this thriving region.”
