Hurrairah bin Sohail speaks with Synergy AV regarding the Nishat Hotel project, a boutique hotel in Lahore Pakistan. The integrator details how it balanced the functionality and the aesthetics for the project.
Located in Lahore, Pakistan the Nishat Hotel provides an apt contrast to the city. Lahore is known for its Mughal history and architecture while the Nishat Hotel is a modern, boutique hotel with 60 rooms along with all the expected bells and whistles. Integrator Synergy AV was given the task of handling the AV needs of the hotel.
Attique Ahmed, executive director of Synergy AV, explains the scope of the project: “Synergy AV was contracted to handle the AV needs of the Nishat hotel. This included PA and background music system for the entire venue as well as specialised AV systems for specific places depending on their function.â€
From the start, there was clear communication with the owner of the Nishat Hotel. The wishes of the end-user were taken into account where possible. Ahmed explains: “The owner had a very particular idea in mind when it came to the AV technology and systems. They wanted to have the technology as hidden away and out of sight as possible as they were very particular about the interior design and ambience of Nishat Hotel. We accommodated the request to the best of our abilities, but as you know there will always be equipment which cannot be completely made to disappear.â€
