Hurrairah bin Sohail speaks with integrator Comsec I-Tech Corporation about the video and audio systems deployed at the KidZania Manila educational theme park in the Philippines.
KidZania Manila is an indoor family educational entertainment centre which is located in Bonifacio Global City in Manila, Philippines. Spread over an area of 8,000 square metres, KidZania Manila is the 20th KidZania facility in Asia. The concept of the play city revolves around providing children with over 70 differently themed spaces to enjoy.
The AV contract for KidZania Manila was awarded in December 2014 and the project was completed in April 2015. The park has been up and operational for more than a year. Meinhardt Philippines served as the consultant while Comsec I-Tech Corporation was involved in the capacity of system integrator.
Reynaldo Calpe, project manager at Comsec I-Tech Corporation, further explains the integrator’s role: “The scope of our involvement was the supply, delivery, and commissioning of PA systems to the general contractor and supply, installation and commissioning of video security systems for which we liaised directly with the end-user."
