Office 2000 Solutions brings teams and technology together in a seamless package for a new banking hub.

Standard Chartered Bank has created a truly collaborative headquarters, bringing together multiple offices under one, 10-floor workplace. This massive 76,000 sq m environment combines meeting rooms and collaboration spaces with engaging town hall environments, digital signage, background audio, and cloudbased monitoring.
The new building was designed with AV in mind, moving beyond a simple room-by-room deployment into a consistent ecosystem that offers a universal user experience for greater collaboration than ever before.
This project, that went on to win the Corporate project category at the 2026 Inavate APAC Awards, had to operate seamlessly at scale and represented an investment of ?43.54 crore.
The building was developed over 12 months in collaboration with WIT Singapore and Greg Jeffreys Consulting, bringing together projection mapping, flexible digital spaces, digital signage and a building-wide Dante network.
Office 2000 Solutions was brought on board to deliver the essential AV ecosystem with an integrated Microsoft Teams solution to put hybrid collaboration at the centre of the bank’s activities. This system is managed in real-time via cloud-based monitoring to maximise employee engagement and operational efficiency.
The integrator was tasked with consolidating the bank’s multiple offices into a single facility, bringing an enhanced user experience through upgraded meeting spaces and a futuristic AV system. The goal was to bring a standardised and seamless experience to the bank’s employees. With more than 13,000 employees spread across banking, technology, and operations working under one roof, this was no small task.
The infrastructure had to support hybrid collaboration, enterprise communication, employee engagement, live events, digital signage, and background audio across the building while also maintaining a standardised
user experience throughout the building. This was an essential requirement for the client, as the bank’s previous AV environments lacked operational consistency, creating a disjointed workflow which varied between rooms.
Failure wasn’t an option: Nothing less than a fully connected workplace ecosystem would do. To complicate matters, the project had to be delivered within 12 months in an active corporate environment, with minimal disruption to daily operations throughout the installation.
The bank’s new campus incorporates a plethora of flexible collaboration spaces that are designed to provide a consistent user experience throughout. Adaptive spaces across the facility maximise the use of real estate while giving employees greater choice. They can transition seamlessly between focused work, hybrid meetings and large corporate events. This philosophy is most evident in two spaces: the collapsible room and the library training room.
The collapsible room, designed with physical flexibility in mind, incorporates a Crestron partition sensor that automatically detects when the space is divided or combined. The sensor then triggers the appropriate AV configuration for either the master or slave room setup in real time, reconfiguring display switching, camera routing, microphone zones, and speaker management without manual user intervention.
The facility’s library and collapsible training room operates as an open collaborative zone for bank employees, featuring a broadcast-centric town hall setup. High-impact visuals and crystal-clear audio were essential in this space.
Office 2000 supplied a 6m x 1.69m LG Active LED wall, designed to handle dual 16:9 content, supported by 100-in and 86-in LG UHD display systems. Ceiling-mounted 55-in and 43-in LG displays provided additional visibility for viewers at the back of the room.
Dante-enabled ceiling microphone arrays were paired with Crestron 1 Beyond PTZ cameras to track presenters and capture natural movement and clear speech across the space. Portable line arrays offer flexible but clear sound, along with an NDI-based video mixer and joystick controller that allows internal teams to support multi-camera live events. This setup reduces the need for a permanent broadcast studio, hitting the client’s requirements of maximising real estate without compromising on the quality of its offerings.
The videoconferencing layer in this space consists of a modular system with a Crestron 10-in touchpanel supported by multiple 1 Beyond 20x zoom FHD PTZ cameras for participant and presenter tracking. This setup allows the library and training room to transition seamlessly between daily collaboration sessions and large-scale events without relying on just one room format.
Centre stage
The star of the show is the bank’s central, 10-storey atrium. This is a space that is designed to impress through scale and ingenuity. The area is as technically challenging as it is impressive, as Rishikesh Ravi, senior manager – key accounts, Office 2000, explains: “We had to identify projector mounting locations as the design called for 18 units of 20,000 lumens projectors, each of them with different zoom lenses, different throw distances, and mounted on three different floors.”
To make matters more complicated, this area had to be executed after the completion of the project within a fully operational banking environment. The integrator created a workable projection strategy, conducting multiple ambient light studies across multiple atrium levels to measure the lux levels at both the projection surface and proposed projector locations.
Office 2000 used Epson projectors alongside Vioso edge blending software, Dataton Watchout media servers, and Lightware’s TPX transmitters to create an immersive canvas that transforms the building’s standout architectural features into a platform for enterprise communication, brand storytelling, and employee engagement.
Connected at the core
This project required an AV infrastructure capable of supporting daily communication, live events, and cloud-based monitoring throughout the building. Office 2000 achieved this by developing a building-wide Dante-based network that enables centralised background music distribution across 11 BGM zones, from the ground floor up to level nine.
The integrator also delivered a campus-wide digital signage network, using 84 LG 43-in UHD displays distributed across all floors.
For unified communications, Poly videoconferencing solutions were deployed throughout the facility’s boardrooms and collaboration spaces, including Poly Studio X70 video bars, Poly G7500 conferencing systems, and Poly E70 cameras. Videoconferencing visuals are handled by 1 Beyond PTZ camera systems, with Poly videoconferencing and NDI-based video mixing to support town hall gatherings and live events. For control and signal distribution, Crestron 4-Series control processors were used to enable content routing and room control across the floors. For visuals, LG UHD displays ranging from 43-in to 98-in are used, with LG active LED walls utilised in key collaboration and multifunction spaces.
For audio, QSC DSP processing was used, with Dante-enabled ceiling microphone arrays as well as wireless microphone systems, and centralised background audio delivered by Bose loudspeakers across the 11 BGM zones.
The infrastructure throughout the building is managed in real time via cloud-based monitoring, enhancing operational visibility across rooms, signage, audio, and communication layers. Office 2000 also coordinated installation, programming, testing, and commissioning across the campus, ensuring that each layer of the system aligned with the original design intent and the bank’s operational standards.
The timeframe for this project proved to be the biggest hurdle facing the integrator, with only 12 months to complete the project and 10 storeys to cover. The integrator had to balance the priorities and needs of bank employees arriving to take over their new floors while work continued, all without compromising on the quality of the installation.
Lokesh Krishnamurthy, chief design architect, Office 2000, explains: “The biggest challenge was the project timeline. The bank’s teams were moving in from different locations, and the priority for completing each floor kept shifting from one floor to another since the client needed to vacate their older facilities. We had to continually modify and adapt our project execution plan to align with the customer’s requirements and move-in dates. Nevertheless, we successfully provided them with the facility which was fully operational on day one.”
Sustainable logistics also played a key role in this project. Office 2000 ensured that all major equipment shipments were all executed by sea to support a lower-emission logistics approach, which formed an essential part of the project’s execution. To do this, early planning was of the essence: careful procurement coordination and disciplined timeline management were essential to ensure that the project’s sustainability considerations did not compromise delivery schedules.
Ultimately, Office 2000 unified the facility’s divisible collaboration spaces, AV-over-IP content distribution, Dante audio networking, digital signage, projection mapping, and broadcast-capable event spaces
into a consistent infrastructure across 10 floors, with a support and maintenance contract in place to support the bank’s new campus into the future. Lokesh closes: “The entire project is covered by a three-year warranty, with three resident engineers dedicated to managing the AV infrastructure. We delivered everything on time to the highest specifications.”
