ARHT Media demos technology in Singapore

ARHT Media demonstrated the capabilities of its technology for telepresence in Singapore.

Karine Koh, managing director for Southeast Asia and Oceania, detailed: “ARHT Media has been around since 1987 and we have carved out a unique product which is all about human interaction and human connection. In this day and age, especially with Covid-19, the human element is becoming increasingly important and we strive to bring it to experiences.”

ARHT Media’s business activities point to a focus on the APAC market. Koh said: “We arrived in Asia three years ago but that was reactionary as the business was from our North American and European clients. However, our strategy is changing. I came on board in September of last year and my push is to expand our footprint in APAC.”

Koh went into further detail regarding ARHT Media’s APAC strategy: “We plan on establishing three hubs, North Asia, Southeast Asia and Oceania. Currently, our North Asian operation is based out of Hong Kong. We will be concentrating on Singapore for the first two quarters of 2021 and this will be followed by our expansion in Australia which might start from Brisbane.”

At present, Koh is focused on ensuring that people can experience the difference ARHT Media’s solution can make. She said: “We have our equipment all over Southeast Asia, Korea, Thailand, Australia and of course Singapore. We are extremely mobile, and we have ‘fly kits’ which our team is able to take with them to different locations once travel resumes.”
