Here is how you can maximise your chances of impressing the independent panel of judges who will be crowning the winners for all the categories of the Inavate APAC Awards 2024.
If you have made up your mind to compete for the Inavate APAC Awards 2024, then this article should be your first port of call!
We are expecting the level of competition to ramp up this year. Entries have been open for a couple of weeks and adding in the discussions we have been having with AV professionals about what they are considering to put forward, our expectation will in all probability be realised. But fret not, we are here to help you maximise your chances of making an impact on our independent panel of judges.
The first thing you need to note is that there is no cap on the number of entries. If you are split between two or more projects to enter, you should enter them all! In fact, our advice would be to enter as many different Award categories as possible to maximise your chances of being a finalist and an eventual winner. After all, there is no predicting what the field of competition will be for the categories themselves.
You are also welcome to enter the same Award category with multiple submissions. However, to clarify, our independent judging panel will be evaluating your entries amongst themselves as well as against the field of competition.
The second thing is to really invest time and effort in your entry document. It is the sole set of information that our judges will be using to gauge the strength of your entry. Our judges will not be able to visit the installation in person and they will not be able to have a detailed discussion with you about your work. In light of these facts, make sure that you include every possible detail in your entry document.
Make use of all the resources at your disposal when crafting your submission. We are happy to share our template entry document with you so you can get an idea of what information is prioritised by our judges. And the Inavate team is more than willing to have a conversation with you about how to best craft a successful entry.
The last piece of advice from our side would be to have fun. Your pride in your work is contagious. As long as your submission reflects the care and consideration that goes into your work, I am sure it will be recognised by our judges and honoured by the Inavate APAC Awards platform.
