DisplayNote appoints Paul McNicholl to drive managed service providers channel growth

DisplayNote has appointed Paul McNicholl as business development manager for managed service providers (MSPs), as the company expands its channel strategy and route to market.

Ed Morgan, CEO of DisplayNote, said: “The appointment reflects growing demand for solutions that improve collaboration experiences without requiring significant hardware investment. We’re seeing a clear shift in how organisations approach meeting spaces increasing focus on improving the experience within existing environments, rather than replacing infrastructure outright.”

Paul McNicholl said this gap presents an opportunity for MSPs to add value without introducing additional complexity: “What we consistently see is that organisations don’t necessarily need to replace their hardware to improve the meeting room experience, There’s a real opportunity to enhance what’s already in place, in a way that works for both the end user and the teams supporting it.”

McNicholl brings experience across multiple industries and will focus on developing relationships with MSP partners, supporting the adoption of DisplayNote’s software within managed service offerings.

His role will centre on helping partners introduce solutions that can be deployed across diverse customer environments, while aligning with both commercial objectives and operational requirements.

McNicholl added: “For service providers, the challenge is always balancing innovation with operational reality. Any solution has to work reliably across multiple environments and be manageable at scale. That’s where we see strong alignment with what DisplayNote offers.”
