On 24 June 2025, over 80 corporate real estate experts, interior designers, tech innovators, and AV/IT consultants and integrators gathered at The Executive Centre, Central Hong Kong, for Inavate Live Hong Kong — an event exploring the intersection of design and technology in shaping tomorrow’s workspaces.
The event kicked off with presentations from technology partners:
• Samuel Tang (Shure) on designing the future of communication.
• Ian Freer (Q-SYS) on creating intelligent spaces.
• Mihai Matei (Bachmann) on smart solutions for dynamic workplaces.
The highlight of event sessions was the panel discussion with insights and perspectives from end-user, CRE professional, interior designer, AV/IT consultant and integrator. The panel featured Alex Huin (LinkedIn), Ivan Mak (M Moser Associates), Bryan Liu (PTS Consulting), Kenneth Wang (Vega) and the conversation was lead by Heather Li (Facilitate Corporation).
Key Takeaways from the panel were:
- Design & Integration – Balancing global standards with local customization.
- Tech & UX – One-touch meeting solutions and AI-driven automation.
- Post-COVID Workspaces – Wellness-focused, sensor-enabled "Living Labs."
- Cultural Adaptation – Designing for regional preferences (e.g., camera usage norms).
- Challenges Ahead – Unified AV management, early tech integration, and upskilling.
And as we look ahead, the future of workspaces lies in AI-driven adaptability, human-centric design, and cross-industry collaboration—ensuring offices remain engaging, efficient, and future-proof.
A big thank you to our partners Absen, Bachmann, Q-SYS, Shure, Vega, and PTS Consulting for working with Inavate and making this event a success!
