ISE and AVIXA issue clarification on AV Integrated Systems Expo India

ISE has released clarification regarding the AV Integrated Systems Expo India (AV-ISE) which is to be held in Mumbai, India from May 30 to June 1, 2019. ISE has made clear that it has no connection with AV-ISE.

Mike Blackman, managing director of Integrated Systems Europe, said: “They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. We put a lot of time, resource and effort into creating a show experience at Integrated Systems Europe that is second to none. We trust that, when deciding whether to attend any given show, AV and systems integration professionals will look beyond the chosen name and make their own judgements.”

AVIXA has also issued clarification stating that AV-ISE is not connected and has no relation with the InfoComm India tradeshow.

David Labuskes said: “InfoComm India continues to be the leading pro-AV event in its market. We look forward to the seventh edition of this great show in September. As AVIXA’s own market research continues to indicate — and our dedicated, ongoing engagement with the Indian pro-AV market affirms — India is a growing market for AV solutions, as well as the skills and internationally accredited certifications required to deliver them. Along with our partners at InfoCommAsia and Integrated Systems Events, we want to address any confusion between our established events and other expos purporting to serve the market. We also want to underscore our year-round commitment to growing the AV industry in India through education, networking events, standards development, and our globally recognised certification program.”
