Up your game for the Inavate APAC Awards 2025

If you’re looking to maximise your chances of winning a Project Award category this year, then read on for tips from our editorial team!

We get a lot of entries for the Inavate APAC Awards and many of you must be thinking about how you can set your submission apart.

Here are three easy things for you to focus on to get an edge on the competition.

Size matters!

Size is not the be-all and end-all, but it does matter! Be it the physical space a project takes up or the dollar amount of investment in tech, size an indicator of the level of attention being paid to the AV deployment. It is the first thing that stands out and makes an impression on our judges.

If you are looking to start making a shortlist of installations to put forward for the Inavate APAC Awards 2025, sorting them from biggest to smallest would be a good way to start. You can’t go wrong if you are selecting the project where you had the most resources to work with.

X factor

Now, if everyone enters their biggest projects how do you set yourself apart? Picking a project with size just gives you parity.

Check to see if your project has something off the beaten path. Maybe you had to create some content using drones, or you had to design and program a GUI from scratch, or you had to fit projectors into an extremely weird spot?

We believe every project and every installation has something that cannot be matched.

Find something that is unique to your project alone. Our judges value uniqueness highly! It is strongly recommended that you showcase all custom work undertaken during the course of project delivery to increase your chances of winning.

Happy customers

There can be no better testimonial for your work than a happy customer! Scan through the list of Inavate APAC Award winners over the years and you’ll find that a lot of the victorious entries had both the integrator and the end user listed as contestants.

Get your clients involved! You will be surprised as to how many end users are as competitive as you and are willing to throw down and compete!

Pro tip, end user involvement with your Inavate APAC Awards entry boosts your chances in the Applied Excellence Project category effectively giving you double the chances of victory!
