NDI has announced a strategic partnership with Jiaruisen (JRS), a Shenzhen-based technology distributor, appointing the company as NDI’s official distribution partner for China.
The partnership aims to significantly expand NDI’s local commercial infrastructure, improving access for Chinese manufacturers and developers, and reinforcing the company’s long-term commitment to growth in China’s pro AV technology markets.
Under the new structure, JRS will provide front-line commercial and technical support, including licensing in local currency, product evaluation and certification services. This localised model is designed to remove barriers for Chinese OEMs and product builders integrating NDI into cameras, decoders, converters, switchers, displays and audio devices, delivering a seamless, trusted and fully localized experience tailored specifically for the domestic market.
Charles Dobson, business development director, NDI, said: “China represents one of the most important growth opportunities for IP innovation. By partnering with JRS, we are creating a true ‘in-China, for-China' model that simplifies how manufacturers adopt NDI. Local invoicing, local support, and local technical coordination remove friction, accelerate product development, and reduce time to market.”
Frank Zhong, founder and CEO of JRS, commented: “Our mission is to help Chinese manufacturers innovate faster and they need partners that can move with them. NDI has become a foundational technology in IP video workflows worldwide. Through this partnership, we can now provide the localized commercial structure and technical support necessary to accelerate adoption across Mainland China.”
The partnership is further strengthened by JRS’s leadership team. The recent appointment of Holden Guo as vice general manager adds further technical authority and industry credibility. Guo is widely recognised in China as a leading voice in AV-over-IP technologies and brings deep relationships and expertise that will directly support NDI customers and partners.
