Shure secures Teams certification for MXA710

Shure’s MXA710 linear array microphone for conferencing has been certified for Microsoft Teams.

The MXA710 can be positioned under or next to a wall-mounted display, or flush mounted in a table. Patented Steerable Coverage technology captures audio anywhere in the room using four lobes with the 60cm array, and eight lobes with 120cm array.

It has onboard IntelliMix DSP to provide automatic mixing, acoustic echo cancellation, noise reduction, and automatic gain control. Autofocus technology is designed to fine-tune each lobe position in real-time, adjusting for meeting participant movements.

Designer System Configuration software can be used for deployment and provides room coverage templates enable lobe optimisation specifically for wall, ceiling, or table installations.

The units are available in white, black, and aluminium and are compatible with Dante and AES67 audio networking protocols. They are PoE-powered and feature LED status bars at each end of the array with configurable colours and brightness. The smaller form factor is suited to smaller meeting spaces up to seven to eight people to support video conferencing. The larger form factor supports large meeting rooms that seat up to around 18 people.  Multiple MXA710 units can be used to provide coverage for even larger spaces.
