InfoComm India was held from 17th September 2014 to 19th September 2014 in Mumbai. The show gave manufacturers an opportunity to display their solutions to system integrators and end-users alike. Aten took the opportunity to showcase their products such as their matrix switcher and wireless extender with live demonstrations.
The VM1600 16x16 modular matrix switch was highlighted in a traffic center environment. Able to support up to 16 displays, the product is suited for control environments where a number of video feeds need to be displayed and monitored. Switching also provides users the opportunity for remote management.
The VE829 HDMI wireless extender was shown off in a home theater environment. The extender is able to wirelessly connect devices and allows users to switch independently between any five sources between two HDTVs. WIDI technology ensures low latency (under one millisecond) and delivers uncompressed HD, 1080P and 3D content between distances up to 30 meters. The VE829 is also targeted for use in conference rooms and other commercial, retail and education environments.
Aten’s CS533 Tap offers a USB-to-Bluetooth KVM switch that extends smartphones and tablets to an existing desktop keyboard and monitor. The solution provides connectivity between any USB keyboard, mouse and trackpad and two mobile devices.
