Atlona has introduced the AT-OCS-900N, a ceiling occupancy sensor with ambient light and temperature detection.
The OCS-900N uses an IP network to communicate with select Atlona products or Velocity system to automatically control AV components based on whether the space is occupied. Its open standard design allows sensor information to be communicated to third-party ventilation, lighting, and other systems.
Applications include the corporate sector, where the product can automate AV system operation in conference rooms and huddle spaces based on occupancy. In the education sphere, it can automate AV systems in classrooms and lecture spaces based on occupancy. For the hospitality/retail it can create interactive content with digital signage and videowalls in lobbies or stores based on motion near the display.
