Tascam has added new features including a vamp playback function to its Model 12 live recording mixer, allowing users to mark up to ten phrases which can be repeatedly played during playback.
Repetition of individual intervals starts automatically or manually and can be interrupted by pressing a button or footswitch, with the piece continuing until the next marked interval.
The vamp playback function has been added as part of firmware update version 1.10, which also addes new features for the Model 12’s metronome including changes on the tempo change menu page which allows users to turn on the click for adjustment.
Three volume options have also been added for the accented note of a click, adding a new sound pattern with four bars for count-ins.
