Harman Professional Solutions announced new AMX SVSI N2600D wallplate encoders and decoders as well as the Pro SoundBar PSB-2 from JBL Professional.
The wallplates extend the AMX SVSI N2600 series and bring Dante AV-A support to an encoder and decoder wallplate for the first time.
All N2600 models feature support for a high-quality, extremely low-latency 4K60 4:4:4 MWC codec that is suited to transmitting both live video and detailed content. They also feature Virtual Network USB 2.0 Hub technology, video preview images viewable from the built-in web interface or from a touch panel, low-power mode for energy savings, and support for high-security networks.
N2600D encoders and decoders are available in wallplate form-factors in both US and UK/EU styles and include both black and white faceplate inserts and wallplate covers. Wallplate Encoders include both an HDMI input and a USB-C input that supports audio, video, and USB 2.0.
In addition to the high-quality, low-latency 4K60 4:4:4 MWC stream, stand-alone box and card models with the ‘S’ designation add support for a high-compatibility, low-bandwidth 1080p H.26x secondary stream. These encoder models can simultaneously encode both MWC and H.26x streams and these decoders can decode streams of either type.
Pro SoundBar PSB-2 with HDMI and Bluetooth support
The JBL Professional Pro SoundBar PSB-2 expands the PSB soundbar lineup by adding HDMI and Bluetooth digital source inputs. The product is designed to deliver focused audio while minimising sound transfer to neighbouring rooms.
Specifically tuned for human speech, PSB-2 integrates a front-facing speaker and offers improved clarity at low volume levels. Additionally, a 2-position volume limiting switch provides further control over volume levels.
HDMI and Bluetooth digital inputs are included and a single source control button on top of the speaker makes switching between sources simple. For applications requiring analogue-only input needs, the JBL PSB-1 Soundbar is also available. Automatic Bluetooth pairing management and the ability to update the Bluetooth name of each PSB-2 can be helpful when managing multiple PSB-2s.
Featuring commercial-grade materials and construction, PSB-2’s durable exterior is also easy to clean. To prevent tampering, a lockout plate concealing the available service port, is also included.
