Sennheiser debuts Evolution Wireless Dante-enabled receiver

Sennheiser has completed its Evolution Wireless Digital series with the launch of its EW-DX EM 4 Dante receiver, a network-ready four-channel receiver for large multichannel audio systems.

The receiver integrates into existing workflows and infrastructures, offering connectivity via Dante (with AES 67 support) for audio over IP, balanced XLR-3 audio outputs and unbalanced ¼-in jacks.

The receiver’s four network ports allow for flexible configuration modes; the ports are configured with a control and Dante primary combined (single cable mode), control as well as a Dante primary separate (split mode), and control, Dante primary, and Dante secondary separate (redundancy mode).
