Biamp Systems has added to its range of amps for small and medium-sized conference rooms with the introduction of its four-channel AMP-A460H power amplifier for its TesiraFORTÉ audio processing platform.
Designed for conferencing or VoIP environments requiring minimal sound distribution, the AMP-A460H features four channels of audio output offering 60 watts per channel at 8 ohms. Bridged in pairs, it can provide 120 watts at 8 ohm or 120 watts with constant voltage (70V/100V) direct drive. The amp also features a balanced analog line in for integration with any of the eight models from Biamp’s TesiraFORTÉ range.
The amplifier has fan-less operation and powers down after 25 minutes with no audio signal to conserve energy.
With a half-rack design, the amp comes with a mounting kit for fitting into standard racks.
The AMP-A460H will be shipping this month.
