Brightsign and EonDigital have announced a temperature screening system made from the BrightSign HD1024 media player with the ExoMetrics Wrist system.
The Exometrics Wrist can carry out temperature checks by focusing on the wrist, an area of the body which is less likely to produce an artificially high temperature reading, with the ExoMetrics Wrist able to take approximately 300 readings in seconds, providing a temperature measurement within 0.5 degree Celsius accuracy variation.
The temperature screening system uses an algorithm that processes recent readings to identify environmental trends to reduce the likelihood of false positive readings from the system.
The system is designed to sit at a height that is suitable for both children and adults, with accessibility for wheelchair or assisted mobility device users.
