DisplayNote has unveiled its DisplayNote Launcher software, allowing users to turn meeting room displays into Office 365 devices via smartphones.
DisplayNote Launcher is a software based system that uses sensor technology to allow users to use a smartphone device to turn shared meeting room displays into temporary Office 365 devices, providing access to calendars, contents and calls by using smartphones to personalise the screen.
The technology will be embedded on Windows based displays, with DisplayNote establishing partnerships with Dell, NEC and Newline, with more providers to be announced.
At release, Launcher will focus on organisations that use Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business and Office 365 with plans for further integrations to be announced.
