INFOBIT Launches iWall 206

INFOBIT has introduced the iWall 206, a 2×6 HDMI video wall controller designed to deliver flexible, high-resolution display configurations across commercial and control room environments.

Built around HDMI 2.0 with 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 support, the iWall 206 enables integrators to create a wide range of video wall layouts, from standard grid configurations to more complex, creative display formats. INFOBIT highlights the controller’s ability to handle both quick preset layouts and fully customised arrangements.

Pre-configured modes such as 2×2, 2×3, 3×2 and 1×4, alongside rotated formats, allow for rapid deployment, while a mosaic mode supports arbitrary layouts, rotation angles and non-standard screen arrangements. The system also supports cascading across multiple units, enabling larger-scale video wall installations.

Each of the six HDMI outputs features an independent scaler to optimise image quality for connected displays, while support for ultra-wide resolutions such as 5400×1920 and 3840×600 extends its use into signage and creative display applications.

The controller supports dual HDMI inputs with auto switching, EDID management, and HDCP 2.3 compliance. Audio can be de-embedded via an analogue output with adjustable delay, while CEC functionality enables display power control.

Control options include front panel operation, RS-232, and LAN via web interface or telnet, providing flexibility for both standalone and integrated AV systems.
