Lightware has announced the launch of LARA (Lightware Advanced Room Automation) 2.0, an upgrade to its built-in room automation platform, introducing improved processing capabilities alongside new monitoring, security, and logging features.
LARA 2.0 builds on the existing room automation capabilities of LARA through a redesigned architecture that improves processing efficiency, enabling more advanced configurations and greater flexibility when designing in-room automation solutions. The switch from a multithreaded to a single-threaded processing model also creates a stronger foundation for future feature development.
For consultants, integrators, and support teams, LARA 2.0 provides greater visibility into system performance, making it easier to verify designs, answer client questions and plan future upgrades.
