Powersoft releases ArmoníaPlus software V2.5 with Mezzo and DSP+ amplifier support

Powersoft has announced version 2.5 of Powersoft’s ArmoníaPlus software, including support for the new Mezzo A+ as well Duecanali/Quattrocanali DSP+ amplifiers.

The update, available from the Powersoft website, enables users to design systems with the Mezzo A+ models, converting and sharing any kind of signal, including Dante, via AES67.

The new version empowers ArmoníaPlus users to configure Dynamic Music Distribution sources to receive an AES67 stream, allowing dynamic routing of music and other signal sources between different zones, across multiple amplifiers and all independent of source location without the need for a centralised DSP.

The update also includes a priority input feature, allowing users to configure a GPI port to play a specific input to one or more zones by applying a differential voltage or closing a contact.

Other features include an update to the embedded speaker preset library which allows users to receive new or updated loudspeaker presets automatically, as well as a new version of the Sys Control app (iOS and Android) with bug fixes and performance improvements.
