Yamaha’s TF series mixing consoles gain significant audio networking capabilities with the firmware update version 3.1.
TF consoles with NY64-D Dante cards can now connect to audio networks that support AES67 interoperability.
Dante was adopted by Yamaha in 2012 and has been its network choice for a range of products. With AES67 Yamaha products can now communicate with a variety of other audio networks for system flexibility.
Audinate has already begun providing AES67 support in Dante and Yamaha is in the process of updating Dante equipped products with corresponding device and Dante firmware updates. Updates have already been rolled out for the CL/QL series digital mixing consoles and R series I/O racks. The TF series now joins this list.
