Reports of projection’s demise have been greatly exaggerated. A technology with inherent flexibility and dynamism is hard to count out and Rajiv Bhalla, managing director, Barco India, agrees: “Defying the perception that projection technology is on its last leg, we are now witnessing this technology finding a home and being used creatively for a host of applications such as museums, experience centres, hybrid workspaces, auditoriums, projection mapping sites and more.”

The compact form factor significantly lowers installation time and reduces shipping and labour costs. For fixed install applications like projection mapping, the projector never compromises on quality - creating mind-blowing visuals and delivering the best-in-class 4K UHD processing at the lowest latency.”

This ensures faster and more effective troubleshooting, thus doing away with stressful last-minute physical service interventions. With the Barco Projector Toolset, which is a free and user-friendly software, customers can manage projectors seamlessly, from a central location, thus supporting both large venues and business projectors.”

Rajiv believes that Barco’s developed and mature projection solution suite is primed to take advantage of surging opportunities in India.
