Marco Lopez has been appointed as vice president of engineering for Clear-Com, joining the company with more than 30 years of experience in the broadcast market.
In this new role, Lopez will lead innovation efforts across strategic areas related to product development, such as improving Clear-Com’s development in wireless technology and advancing IP-based intercom systems.
Lopez played a role in the transformation of analogue to digital signals with Miranda Technologies, while also playing a role in the development of the Active Format Description (AFD) standard that defined aspect ratio control between standard and HD broadcasting.
