ARX's MSX series audio splitters were utilized to provide broadcast and microphone splitting services for Pope Francis’ sea-front mass in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Panadura based Creative Entertainment Pvt Ltd supplied the audio system for the event.
Colin Park, managing director for ARX, explained ARX’s involvement with the event: "The supply and sale was arranged in late 2014 by ARX's Sri Lankan representative Mohan Jayasuriya. Audio contractor Creative Entertainment utilized four units of MSX 32 TALL Active and and unit of MSX 48 Passive Mic / line splitters."
The ARX Splitters were primarily used for signal distribution to the sound reinforcement system providing audio for the event. A total of 48 fully isolated transformer outputs provided high level, low noise audio signals.
