Avnu announces 2017 education sessions

The Avnu Alliance has announced education sessions in America and Germany in 2017 after a successful event during ISE in Amsterdam.

The Amsterdam event featured presentations and a live demonstration of Biamp’s TesiraLux and TesiraForté products to an audience of about 20 AV professionals. Discussions focused on the benefits of an open standard and interoperability challenges.

Patrick Prothe, the pro AV marketing work group chair for the Avnu Alliance, noted that the level of knowledge among participants was generally high with a good understanding of networking but in many cases no experience of practical application.

Further sessions for 2017 will focus on AVB/TSN and will be held in Orlando, USA during InfoComm and at the TSNA (Time Sensitive Networks and Applications) conference in 2017.

The Avnu Alliance will present the same masterclass that was held at ISE during the InfoComm show, June 14 to 16. The two hour class titled ‘AVB/TSN - The Evolution of Ethernet and IP for Audio, Video and beyond,’ targets AV and IT managers, integrators and specifiers and will include an interactive demonstration.

The global TSNA (Time Sensitive Networks and Applications) conference will be held in Stuttgart, Germany from September 20-21. It is now in its third year third year and offers speaking sessions, panels, and exhibitor demonstrations on TSN across the professional AV, automotive, industrial, and consumer market segments. Avnu Alliance, a top sponsor and co-host of the event, will deliver a number of speaking sessions on initiatives and technology developments in TSN for networked AV.
