Datapath has announced the appointment of Eddie Chin Boo Tan as its senior sales manager for Southeast Asia. Based in Singapore, Tan will be covering the ASEAN region, including Taiwan, for Datapath.
Tan has previously worked at Barco for 12 years in areas ranging from command & control to AR, training, pro AV and entertainment. Prior to joining Datapath Tan spent three years with Applied Materials, a factory equipment manufacturer based in Japan.
Tan said: “I am thrilled to be joining Datapath. They are a company known to AV professionals the world over and have established themselves as the leader in command & control video management. I hope to use my experience to further develop Datapath’s market share in the ASEAN region, servicing customers old and new.”

The current pandemic is, quite obviously, causing unrest in the economy as a whole, but we are confident we have the team in place to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.”
He added: “Eddie has huge experience in our core markets – command & control and multi-end point video management – and will be completing his training in our Japan office before returning to his operational base in Singapore, where he will oversee Datapath operations in Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam and of course, Singapore. ”
