eyevis stabilised after successful restructuring

Eyevis is now stable, fully financed and able to execute all existing orders - as well take new ones - according to its insolvency administrator, Schultze & Braun.

It is good news form the troubled German manufacturer that started insolvency proceedings and a restructuring process late last year.

Dr Holger Leichtle, the preliminary insolvency administrator from Schultze & Braun, said: “In discussions with our financiers, we were able to conclude an agreement that fully finances the business operations. Eyevis is able to execute all existing orders and accept new orders. The further delivery by our business partners is also ensured, so that all confirmed target delivery dates can be met.

“All employees show full commitment and our customers do not withdraw their orders. On the contrary, existing orders are confirmed and new ones placed.”

Eyevis and its insolvency administrator now have high hopes for the ongoing M&A process with a number of potential investors directly addressed and hopes for a conclusion to the investor process within a matter of months.

Dr Leichtle reports: “We are seeing a great deal of interest and expect the first non-binding offers in the coming weeks. This shows that eyevis is a strong and still popular player in the market.”
