GDC Technology Limited announced the rollout of DTS Surround has begun with five cinema halls in China and one in Vietnam.
In Vietnam, CGV Vincom Grand Park will feature DTS Surround Cinema in one hall when it opens. The cinema is located in Ho Chi Minh City within the Vincom Mega Mall Grand Park and is scheduled to have its soft opening in late April 2024.
The five cinemas in China include: Capital Cinema, Beijing, China Film Cinema (Dang Shi Guan CINITY), Beijing, Lumière Beijing Parkview Green Cinema, Beijing, SFC Cinema (Metro City), Shanghai, and Xing Bo International Theatre, Tianjin.
In addition, the Lumière Pavilions have entered a strategic framework cooperation with GDC to upgrade 20 cinema halls within two years.
