GU Bistronomy selects Pro Sound to deliver fine dining experience in Hanoi, Vietnam

GU Bistronomy, a fine dining restaurant located in the Thanh Xuan District of Hanoi, has chosen to partner with Pro Sound for the restaurant’s sound system.

To begin, Pro Sound installed a system based on Nexo’s ultra-compact ID14 speakers, with cabinets finished in the same red used on soft furnishings throughout the restaurant.

The ID14 employs a custom-designed 4-in coaxial driver and a 1.4-in diaphragm HF motor to deliver smooth and clean sound projection from a cabinet measuring 130mm wide, 130mm high and 120mm from front to back. To ensure maximum versatility, the ID14 can be specified with either 100-degrees x 100-degrees or 90-degrees x 140-degrees HF dispersion.

Additionally, Pro Sound collaborated with the team at Bao Duong Co – Nexo’s distributor – to utilise a NS-1 software that predicts SPL and frequency coverage. A total of fourteen ID14s were also deployed – supplemented by six ID84s, four ePS10s and pairs of Nexo ePS6 and PS8. Bass extension was supported by five NEXO eLS400 and two eLS600 subs, with amplification and processing supplied by a rack of seven Nexo NXAMPMk2 powered controllers.

“ID14 is the perfect loudspeaker for a high-end hospitality venue like GU,” commented Pro Sound owner and managing director. “Guests enjoy pristine, full range sound with consistent SPL coverage, which helps to create a relaxed vibe in the room without filling it full of ugly boxes.”
