Neat appoints Janine Pelosi as CEO alongside several leadership appointments

Neat has appointed Janine Pelosi as the chief executive officer, effective 1st October 2023.

Simen Teigre, co-founder of Neat, is now the chief of emerging innovations. Pelosi and Teigre are set to serve on Neat’s board of directors.

With almost two decades of experience in the technology industry, Pelosi previously served as the chief marketing officer of Zoom.

OJ Winge, Neat’s co-founder and board chair, and co-founder of Ubon Partners, the majority shareholder in Neat, remarked: “Janine’s visionary leadership in navigating the path to global scale, while remaining focused on the customer experience, will be instrumental to accelerate Neat’s continued growth. As a key member of the executive leadership team at Zoom, Janine had a strong hand in building it from a small software startup into a globally recognized powerhouse, and her experience will be invaluable as Neat begins the journey towards public company readiness.”

Pelosi said: “As businesses manage both the benefits and complexities of hybrid work, Neat supports this new landscape and empowers teams to connect and accomplish more together. I’m excited to bring these capabilities to a broader customer base; work closely with Microsoft, Zoom, and our expanding ecosystem of partnering apps and services; and join forces with a team of brilliant, entrepreneurial individuals.”

Neat has also made several appointments across the leadership team, with Todd Meister serving as the chief operating officer for Neat. Meister was the former SVP of global partners & alliances at Zscaler, and former VP of commercial central sales for Cisco.

Additionally, Martijn Blokland has been appointed as the VP & GM, International; and Rick Hill as the VP & GM, Americas.

Kevin McMenamy joined Neat as VP of software engineering & CTO after serving Kevin most as chief architect of Webex Media Engineering at Cisco.

Lastly, Priscilla Barolo takes the position of head of marketing & communications following her role at Zoom at head of communications.
