Pixotope appoints new leaders

Pixotope appointed Vivian Yu as marketing director of APAC and global sales enablement lead and Phil Ventre as vice president of strategy and global business development.

In their roles, Yu and Ventre will leverage their individual networks and expertise in the media and entertainment industry to meet the demands of the growing broadcast market and APAC region.

In her role, Yu will support both APAC and the world-wide Pixotope marketing teams with additional expertise in the media and entertainment industry. She will leverage her experience in marketing roles at Avid and Ross Video to drive campaigns in the region.

Yu commented: “It speaks volumes that Pixotope already has a significant customer base in APAC with leading organizations such as China’s CCTV, Singapore’s Anomalyst Studio, Korea’s KBS, and Thailand’s Amarin TV already leveraging our technology to elevate their productions. I look forward to supporting our existing customers and welcoming new ones by fostering a community that inspires and connects end users to the opportunities that Pixotope virtual production solutions can offer.”

Prior to his appointment at Pixotope, Ventre has had industry experience spanning sales, marketing, and business development at Avid, Ross Video, Disguise and Silver Spoon Animation. As VP of strategy and global business development, Ventre will lead the Pixotope business development and strategy function for the sports, e-sports, and broadcast sectors.

Ventre commented: “The more that audiences are exposed to immersive content created with virtual production techniques, the more they come to expect it in every piece of media they consume.
