RealD Inc. and Wanda Cinema Line Corporation have announced an agreement to expand 3D across China. Part of the agreement includes committing to equipping a total of 5,600 screens throughout China with RealD’s state-of-the-art projection technology. The announcement was made by Michael V. Lewis, CEO and Founder of RealD.
As part of the pact, Wanda will install no less than 4000 new RealD 3D projection systems during the next four years in Wanda Cinema Line theatre’s across China. Wanda has already equipped 1,600 of their theatre’s with RealD’s 3D technology.
