Sennheiser has announced that it has appointed Sarmad Riaz as its new business development manager for Pakistan, amid aims for the company’s plans to expand its market share in Pakistan’s pro-audio segment, reinforcing its channel and expanded its network of pro AV resellers.
The appointment comes after Sennheiser completed an internal restructuring, with Pakistan now being included within the remit of the company’s Middle East sales organisation.
Riaz has accumulated over 15 years of industry experience, starting with a career as a sales engineer at Media Links Pakistan before spending nine years in core technical and sales roles at TV channels throughout the country.
Riaz also joined a Dubai-based AV systems integrator before moving to Advanced Media as a broadcast solutions sales manager.
Mig Cardamone, director of sales and marketing, Sennheiser Middle East, said: “We have formulated a strategic two-pronged approach to build on this success and capitalise on the tremendous opportunity that Pakistan provides. By carefully assessing the market and deepening our engagement with end-customers, we will develop a clear product roadmap and bring our latest and most relevant solutions to market. Simultaneously, we will expand and enable our network of qualified partners to expertly cater to this demand.”
