TI Tower boosts visitor interaction with Zytronic powered touchsreen

The Trade and Industry Tower (TI Tower), a government building in the Kai Tak Development Area of Hong Kong, is using Zytronic powered touchscreens as part of its digital signage system.

The digital signage system within the lobby of the TI Tower uses an 80-in monitor and a 21-in interactive screen, mounted on a podium beneath the larger display.  The building houses government departments and a community hall.

Manuel Ling, sales manager at Zytronic partner and integrator ASPIS Innovation Solutions, advised on the interactive system that uses Zytronic’s ZyBrid hover technology that removes the need to physically touch the display.

ASPIS also created a graphical user interface GUI content, increasing the size of the icons, and introducing wider ‘guard bands’ or space around each touch active button, ensuring an optimal user experience.
