At an event held in Singapore, Bose introduced its F1 model 812 flexible array speaker. The vertical coverage pattern of the product can be controlled and it is targeted at sound professionals, musicians and DJs.
The speaker employs FLEX array technology which enables it to develop straight, C, J or reverse J coverage patterns. It also automatically changes the EQ to maintain tonal balance for the coverage pattern chosen.
Engineered with an array of eight high-output mid/high drivers, a high powered 12" woofer and a lower crossover point, the loudspeakers delivers high SPL performance whilemaintaining vocal and midrange clarity that dramatically better than conventional loudspeakers. A Bose F1 subwoofer has also been released. Both products have a power output of 1,000 Watts.
