After 12 years of joint leadership as Co-CEO, Daniel Sennheiser will join the Board of Management of the Sennheiser Group, while Dr. Andreas Sennheiser will continue operational leadership as CEO.
Daniel Sennheiser will assume his new role effective January 1, 2026. He succeeds Andreas Dornbracht, who has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the past four years. Andreas Dornbracht will remain a member of the Board and will continue to serve alongside the other members. The Board of Directors is composed, in addition to Andreas Dornbracht, of Iris Epple-Righi, Stephan Plenz, and Prof. Dr. Jörg Sennheiser (honorary member).
In his new role, Daniel Sennheiser will focus on the strategic direction of the Group. Daneil Sennheiser explained: “By joining the Board of Management, I will be able to focus more of my time on developing the company and continuously strengthening our relationships with our customers. I will continue to work closely with my brother Andreas to support him in his role as CEO, as well as with the Executive Board.”
Andreas Sennheiser will continue to lead the company as CEO and manage operational activities together with the Executive Board. He said: “This new organisation allows us to combine day-to-day management with a long-term strategic vision, a balance that is essential for the future success of the Sennheiser Group.”
The two brothers will continue to pursue their shared goal: to ensure the sustainable and independent growth of the Sennheiser Group and shape the future of audio. “Our trusting relationship and complementary perspectives have enabled us to successfully lead the company for more than ten years as co-CEOs. This partnership will remain the foundation for our future collaboration.”
Daniel Sennheiser said: “I am looking forward to this new chapter in our family business, which has grown successfully over three generations. Progress means knowing how to positively support change: both for me in my new role and for Sennheiser as a company.”
Daniel Sennheiser concluded: “We sincerely thank Andreas Dornbracht for his commitment and vision over the past few years. His strategic perspective and valuable contributions have been a real asset to all of us. I am delighted that he will remain on the Board and that we can continue to benefit from his experience and expertise.”
