At an event held at the Terra @ Suntec City Sky Garden, Singapore Electronics & Engineering introduced the Shure KSM8 and MOTIV series of microphones along with an online platform, called Shure Vibes, for engaging customers.
The KSM8 is a dual diaphragm dynamic microphone which claims to eliminate proximity effect while offering an extension of working distance. The product is targeted at the live performance sector where sound quality and feedback control are critical. A quick overview of the KSM8 was presented by Philip Cheung, senior product manager for retail from Shure Asia Limited.
The MOTIV series is compatible with Windows, Mac and iOS which allows it to be used with smartphones and tablets. The series is targeted at consumers and professionals to capture audio for video, podcasts, recording and more.
Electronics and Engineering also took the opportunity to highlight to attendees that it has launched a dedicated Shure online platform in Singapore. The Shure Vibes (www.shurevibes.com) serves as an online portal for all Shure related news in Singapore.
