Pune’s F Lounge now uses LEA amplifiers to enhance its daytime social gatherings and high-energy evening events.
Located in Pune’s Phoenix Mall of the Millenium, F Lounge by FTV combines dining, entertainment, and nightlife. The venue features a contemporary interior supported by an expansive alfresco area, creating an environment that transitions from daytime social gatherings to high-energy evening events. With dedicated VIP seating, a spacious dance floor, and flexible event spaces, the lounge can accommodate casual dining, corporate functions, as well as live music performances and celebrity DJ appearances.
Boasting an eclectic menu of global cuisine, signature cocktails, and immersive entertainment programming. The project required a complete audio system which could serve multiple hospitality functions throughout the venue, requiring consistent coverage and total balance throughout the space while maintaining the ability to deliver high output when needed.
An audio system was curated, comprised of Optimal Audio loudspeakers powered by LEA Professional Connect series amplifiers. Astys Audio Video was brought on board to deliver the project, meeting the owner’s precise requirements.
Sparsh Basak, owner, Astys Audio Video, commented: "The goal was to provide even, high-quality sound that could get loud without distortion while maintaining tonal balance throughout the venue. LEA amplifiers stood out because of their power density, built-in DSP, loudspeaker presets, flexible control options, and overall sound quality and reliability."
The Astys team installed several Dante-enabled Connect series 704D and Connect series 1504D amplifiers to power the venue, with a Connect series Touch PoE-powered wall controller to provide a tactile controller for the system. The wall-mounted touchpanel is designed for control of the LEA amplifiers, offering source selection and volume adjustments for individual zones.
The integrator used LEA’s SharkWare software to configure a base profile, pushing it out to all pre-staged LEA amplifiers. SharkWake includes amplifier grouping, offline design, granular user access control levels, locked speaker tunings, and a graphical EQ. SharkWare also allows users to monitor the status of each amplifier connected to the network, highlighting the status and performance of individual channels. The software also allows users to view and adjust channel settings, input settings, signal generator, crossover, equaliser, limiter, and load monitoring for all LEA Professional Connect series amplifiers.
Basak adds: "We would definitely consider LEA in future installations. The performance of the products, combined with the support from Generation AV India, made this a very successful project."
