A grandMA3 lighting control system supported Indian rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh during the ‘MILLIONAIRE INDIA’ tour at ten major Indian cities.
Lighting designers Bala Subramanya and Guru Somayaji, 369 Design Lab, specified a grandMA3 lighting control system for the show, crafting a technically robust and visually impressive lighting design to support one of India’s most prolific performers, blending spellbinding visuals with Yo Yo Honey Singh’s dynamic stage presence.
The 369 Design Lab team works with grandMA3 systems running software version 2.3, working with SSL Lights from Mumbai to supply four grandMA3 full-size consoles and two grandMA3 processing units, as well as more than 350 lighting fixtures.
The team also deployed a grandMA3 onPC 2Port node to control Zylo wristbands for increased audience interactivity. The 369 Design Lab team delivered a trussing layout, stage design, and lighting plot that blended lighting and visuals into one immersive environment, with three versions of the production to suit different venues.
The designers created a grand indoor setup for NESCO, Mumbai, as well as a 360-degree format for Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi. An outdoor version was also adapted for various venues, using Giant Truss DDR 85 and DDR 86 systems.
