Indian winners stand tall at Inavate APAC Awards 2026

Indian AV professionals won multiple awards at the Inavate APAC Awards 2026, triumphing in project categories, as well as manufacturer and distributor of the year.

The winners of the Inavate APAC Awards 2026 were revealed during a lively evening of celebration in Bangkok on July 15, highlighting the success of both the Indian and wider APAC market.

The event brought together the full spectrum of the APAC AV industry, including manufacturers, distributors, consultants, integrators and end users. The audience was particularly strong in technology buyers and specifiers, with many responsible for some of the region’s largest, most ambitious and technically accomplished AV projects.

Hurrairah bin Sohail, managing editor of Inavate APAC, said: “The standard of entries this year was exceptional and, without doubt, represented the strongest field we have seen since launching the Inavate APAC Awards. Choosing the winners was incredibly difficult, with outstanding projects and companies represented across every category.

“Tonight demonstrated the extraordinary depth of knowledge, creativity and ambition that exists across the APAC AV industry. It was fantastic to bring together the people commissioning, specifying and delivering some of the region’s most impressive projects, as well as the manufacturers and distributors supporting their work.

“The atmosphere was brilliant, and it was a real pleasure to celebrate the achievements of all our finalists and winners with such a broad representation of the industry.”

Indian winners stood out in multiple categories, with Office 2000 Solutions taking the win for the Corporate Project Awards with the Standard Chartered Bank, Chennai. Multee ProE + Metahive Design Consulting won the Experience Centre Project Award, the second win for Metahive Design Consulting this year after taking home the Inavation Awards’ Experience Centre Project in Barcelona earlier in February 2026.

The House of Worship category was won by Havi Design, delivering the Ram Mandir, Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math in Goa.

Outside of the Project Awards, Indian professionals won Distributor of the Year, Manufacturer of the Year, and AV Icon.

Hi-Tech Audio & Image took the trophy for distributor of the year, while Logic celebrated its win as Manufacturer of the Year.

Kaushik Mukhopadhyay, founder, MD & CEO, AVID India and AVID UAE was celebrated as The Inavate APAC Awards 2026’s AV icon.

Reflecting on his win, Kaushik said: After three decades, one thing has become crystal clear: Awards recognise individuals, but success is always a team sport.  The truth is, no one builds a career alone. This award belongs as much to my amazing colleagues at AVID - every single one of them; our customers who trusted us with their vision; our technology partners who challenged us to innovate; our consultants who somehow managed to turn our scribbles into elegant designs; our incredible industry association AVIXA, which I have been so immensely proud to serve on the Board; and to the many mentors who patiently taught and guided me over the years.”
