InFocus has announced the acquisition of Vidco, a systems provider of multimedia room and building solutions headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany.
Vidco has a more than 30-year history providing counselling, customised planning and installation support using the latest high-performance components, including professional services and support for customers in Germany and all over Europe.
This March, InFocus plans to open an EMEA Executive Briefing Centre and Training Academy in Frankfurt. InFocus channel partners will gain a state-of-the-art facility to preview and bring customers to see InFocus' integrated solutions-from projectors, to touch-enabled displays and videophones, to the latest in video conferencing and collaboration products. A regular schedule of sales and technical training classes for partners will be offered.
Other resources added through the acquisition will allow InFocus to offer a range of professional services to its channel partners, augmenting their own expertise with room design, network design, installation, and other services in support of complex deployments across a range of industries.
