Alcons Audio will preview a wide-dispersion version of its LR28 larger format line array and an extension of its QR24 series, a modular high-output line-source column at Prolight + Sound 2017.
The 110º horizontal dispersion LR28/110 is designed for large live productions and is an extension of the existing three-way, 80º dispersion LR28/80. It features the same faceprint downfill and components (two 14-in woofers, four 6.5-in midrange and an RBN1402rsr pro-ribbon driver) on a 110º waveguide. It is powered and controlled by four channels of the Sentinel10 amplified loudspeaker controller. Its rigging system enables angle-setting on the cabinets without lifting the array.
Alcons is also showing an extension of the QR24 series modular high-output line-source column. The QR24 is designed for acoustically challenging venues.
The company will also demonstrate its LR18 line array, RR12 point source array and QR24 off site on April 5.
Prolight+Sound takes place at Frankfurt Messe from April 4 to 7, 2017. Alcons will exhibit in Hall 3 on booth B50.
