Dataton gave a sneak peek at an addition to its media server portfolio at InfoComm 2018. The Watchmax SDI will be a new core model in the company’s range of 19-in rack servers and is the first to be equipped with an SDI interface, enabling up to 12 video outputs.
The Watchmax SDI, previewed at InfoComm, is a dedicated media server for use with Dataton’s multi-display software, Watchout.
Watchmax SDI features four 4K DisplayPort outputs and eight 3G-SDI bi-directional connectors.

"The new unit will be offered with configuration options, making it a versatile solution whenever a rack server is the preferred choice."
