Electro-Voice has announced two additions to its ZLX series in the form of the ZLX-12BT and ZLX-15BT speakers. Both models are Bluetooth-equipped for audio streaming from any mobile device.
Aimed at music playback or accompaniment applications, the ZLX-12BT and ZLX-15BT also offer the same features that can be found on standard ZLX models.
These features include QuickSmart DSP processing which allows for easy setup via presets.
The new models also feature a 1,000W Class-D power amplifier delivering up to 12 dB peak SPL using transducers designed and engineered by EV. The EV-patented Signal Synchronized Transducers (SST) waveguide design aim to provide precise and consistent coverage with minimal distortion.
A three-handle design integrated into a rugged composite enclosure expands the range of applications the speakers can be used for.
The new Bluetooth-equipped models will be available in selected countries.
